Swale Youth Development Fund

Are you talented….ambitious?
Perhaps we could give you a helping hand….

Swale Youth Development Fund was set up in 1985 by the then Mayor of Swale, Councillor Richard Moreton. He realised that there are many young people resident in Swale who could be helped to achieve their full potential with a little financial assistance and encouragement when it is most needed. Grants are available for many activities, including music, dance, drama, all sports, indeed almost anything that will help young people to make the most of their talents and opportunities. If you have any questions that are not answered in this website then we can be contacted by emailing: swaleydf@gmail.com

Application forms are available by clicking on Apply here or on the top menu bar. This page also contains our Privacy Notice which sets out how the fund will comply with GDPR legislation.

OUR AIMS

Swale Youth Development Fund is a charity that helps young people with a variety of talents, abilities and special needs.
We help young people up to and including the age of 21 who normally live in Swale. This Includes those who have a mental or physical disability or those for whom English is a second language.
You have to be able to show how you would benefit from help – usually financial – which you haven’t been able to get from anywhere else. The Borough of Swale includes Faversham, Sittingbourne, Sheppey and the surrounding areas.
